Project description
This Bukit Timah bungalow project involved the installation of a large-format exterior folding door system to create a seamless connection between the indoor living area and the outdoor space.
Scope
The work included site measurement, system configuration, supply and installation of aluminium frames, glass panels, tracks, rollers, hardware, sealing and final performance testing.
Challenges
The main challenges were maintaining accurate alignment across the wide opening, ensuring smooth movement of the large glass panels and improving protection against Singapore’s rain, wind and humidity.
Solutions
A custom-sized folding door system with slim aluminium profiles, heavy-duty hardware and weather-resistant sealing was installed to provide smooth operation, reliable performance and a modern architectural finish.
